Carter is a Senior Vice President at Franklin Templeton Institutional with responsibilities for new business development and client relations. He has a broad range of investment experience working with institutional clients and consultants including endowments, foundations, as well as corporate and public pension funds. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton Institutional in 2000, Carter was with Deutsche Bank, where he was responsible for marketing and client service with institutional retirement plans. Prior to this position, he worked for The Bank of New York and NationsBank in New York and Atlanta in institutional sales and marketing.

Carter earned a BBA in finance from Loyola University. He is member of the AIMSE Board of Directors and serves as an Advisor to Kairos.
